finished reading falling leaves 落叶归根





okay ba...rather interesting in the sense...
she wrote her life into 2 books...but i still prefer chinese cinderella...
though its more impactful( in terms of how tortured she was)
falling leaves is more of the 勾心斗角among the siblings
especially the back part of the story...when i tot that they would finally be a happy family again
then it turns out that...her siblings were just plotting against one another for the sake of money

especially her weakling brother who loves the phrase 算了吧 and allows himself to be manipulated for the sake of money...
his betrayal to adeline is the most disgusting one...especially since they had been the closest since childhood and adeline had trusted him most.
